Meat production does not fit within Machandel’s views on sustainability. As a matter of principle, we process no animal products. We use natural, organic substitutes to replace ingredients like gelatine, milk, eggs and honey. In our lab, we constantly look for new applications to further expand our options. That has led to products like our egg-free organic mayonnaise. Machandel has organic seitan and tofu in its product range as plant-based meat substitutes.
